Iran issued a warning, saying that “no one can guarantee” control of the situation in the event that Israel invades Gaza before the anticipated Israeli military attack.
Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was quoted by Iran’s foreign ministry as saying, “No one can guarantee the control of the situation and the non-expansion of the conflicts if the attacks of the Zionist regime (Israel) against the defenceless citizens and people of Gaza continue.” The remarks were exchanged between the minister and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar.

This occurred as Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, called the nation’s extended emergency cabinet to order for the first time, stating that the country’s readiness to “demolish Hamas” in Gaza and the unity among its citizens conveyed a message both at home and abroad. All of the ministers, according to Benjamin Netanyahu, were “working around the clock, with a united front.”
“Hamas believed that we would be destroyed. The Israeli PM declared, “We will destroy Hamas,” and added that the demonstration of solidarity “sends a clear message to the nation, the enemy, and the world.”
Ministers observed a moment of silence at the start of the conference, which took place in the military headquarters in Tel Aviv, to remember the 1,300 Israelis who died in Hamas’ surprise attack.

This is the bloodiest of the five Gaza wars for Palestinians, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, with 2,329 Palestinians killed since the combat started.
