A baby girl has been born to singer Rahul Vaidya and his actor-wife Disha Parmar. Rahul and Disha shared the wonderful news on Wednesday via a combined Instagram photo and a lengthy statement, noting that both the mother and child are doing well.

Rahul and Disha shared a sweet image of a cartoon baby elephant with the caption “It’s a girl” on Instagram as a joint post. The image was undoubtedly a nod to the joyous Ganesh Chaturthi holiday.
In the caption, they shared, “We are blessed with a Baby GIRL! The mummy and baby both are healthy and doing perfectly well! We would like to thank our Gynaec @dhruptidedhia who was hands on with the baby right since conceiving till birth and special thanks to our family @dnamjoshi & @masuuma at @criticareasiahospitals for giving us the best delivery experience possible!
