On Thursday, representatives from Guinness World Records will visit MP’s Bhind to assess the enormous rakhi project that a BJP politician undertook.
The Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh is preparing to enter its name for making the “world’s biggest rakhi” ever in the Guinness World Records amid the ongoing festive fervour of Raksha Bandhan on Wednesday. The large rakhi on this farmhouse in Bhind was made by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ashok Bhardwaj.

After the BJP workers made such a suggestion, Bhardwaj chose to take the lead. The crew chose to break the record after searching online for the current record in this category.
According to Bhardwaj, a company has been contracted to handle this project. According to him, more than ten artisans are employed to create the rakhi, which is created from materials like cotton, cardboard, thermocol sheets, wood, etc. Two extra decorative balls are attached to the main centrepiece of the rakhi, which is typically spherical and has a diameter of 25 feet, and they are each 15 feet in diameter.

Images from MP’s Bhind have surfaced, showcasing the project’s progress as it is being completed in full speed for its timely preparation. Separate rakhi pieces were being coloured, embellished, and decorated by a number of artisans.
Will be registered in five records

Bhardwaj further asserted that once the rakhi was finished, its length will break all previous records. The BJP leader also stated that he intends to have the project added in as many as five recognised records, including the Guinness World Records, the Limca Book of Records, the World Book of Records, the Asia Book of Records, and the India Book of Records. However, the final length of the rakhi has not yet been decided.

On Thursday, representatives from Guinness Records will fly into Bhind to assess the project and perhaps register it as a record. The rakhi will be deemed the “biggest” in the world after the proper procedure, according to the report.
