Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended guidance to fresh recruits in the central armed police forces, emphasizing the significance of physical fitness and the practice of yoga for mental well-being.
Speaking at the Rozgar Mela, during which digital transmission of appointment letters to 51,106 recruits for central armed police forces, the Narcotics Control Bureau, and Delhi Police took place, Modi urged the new appointees to uphold their physical fitness. He underscored the nature of their job being devoid of time constraints and subjected to varying weather conditions. He stated, “Given the demands of your role, physical fitness is paramount. A well-maintained physique expedites half of your tasks effortlessly,” conveyed the Prime Minister through a video conference.
Modi also encouraged the recruits to incorporate yoga into their routines to navigate moments of tension that frequently arise in the security personnel field of work. He expounded, “Regular yoga practice is imperative. A composed mind grants you heightened resilience in your duties. Yoga transcends mere physical exertion; it is essential to cultivate a balanced and serene mind, particularly to navigate your responsibilities with a calm demeanour,” expressed PM Modi.

The Rozgar Mela event orchestrated by the Home Ministry on Monday solidified appointments for diverse central armed police forces, encompassing the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), along with the Delhi Police.
Selected from various corners of the nation, the recruits are poised to assume roles such as Constable (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (General Duty), and Non-General Duty Cadre Posts across diverse organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
