Because Of Mahatma Buddha, Today Many Countries Of Asia Bow Down At Feet Of India, Said Upendra Rai, Chairman Of Bharat Express

He went on to emphasize that those currently asserting journalism lack prospects are often individuals who are willing to accept a government contract job for 17 thousand rupees or take on clerical roles due to fear of risk.

Industry cum Orientation 2023 program was organized at APEEJAY Institute of Mass Communication’s Dwarka Campus, Delhi. Upendra Rai, Chairman, MD and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express News Network participated in the programme. Addressing the students, he said that in life we should take one step forward every day. Taking this one step forward does not mean that we walk 15 kms. By doing this, we will never be able to reach school. Taking this one step further means that there should be a qualitative change in what we are doing in our life. Learn a new thing every day. Read the newspaper for that. Learn a new word in English. Use some spiritual path as guided by your guru in  life. After that try to move forward on the learning. Self-realization requires knowing who I am and how I am making my abilities bigger and better. For this it is also necessary that you get dispensed with your borrowed life. Be an original man. We are representing the 22nd century and that’s why whatever is old in our personality, which is borrowed, separates it.

“India’s Illustrious Sons and Daughters Elicit Global Admiration “

“Among these exceptional individuals was Mahatma Buddha, who didn’t receive the rightful recognition in his homeland due to injustices by local pundits and priests. However, he garnered immense honor, respect, and veneration from nations worldwide. Presently, the nations of Asia hold Buddha’s teachings and principles in high esteem, considering them integral to their identity. This profound reverence leads these nations to pay homage to India, primarily attributing it to the legacy of Mahatma Buddha.”

“Fear: The Chief Barrier against Understanding and Progress”

“The concept of heaven or hell was absent from the teachings of Mahatma Buddha. Those who attain spiritual realization embody the essence of God through their elevated intellect. This sentiment echoes across the teachings of luminaries like Buddha, Swami Vivekananda, and other revered thinkers and saints. The process of personal evolution commences with the growth of understanding, leading to the emergence of a transformed and authentic self. However, fear poses a significant impediment to this journey of comprehension. Rooted in early teachings, fear obstructs the path to self-discovery. Overcoming this fear marks a crucial step towards embracing one’s originality and progress on the path of personal evolution.”

“Addressing the Queries of the Youth”

Youth’s Inquiries Met with Candid Responses: “Throughout the session, students engaged Upendra Rai with a range of questions, to which he responded frankly, appeasing their curiosity. When student Swati Kumari inquired about religion, Upendra Rai provided a straightforward answer, stating, ‘If I were asked to write a column on religion today, I would begin by writing about human beings, not about Hindu-Muslim distinctions.'”

“Modern Journalism: A Glamorous Evolution”

“Addressing a question about journalism from another student, he responded, ‘Journalism today holds a glamorous allure and has undoubtedly made significant strides. Those who maintain outdated perspectives are the ones still trapped in old mindsets. In the present era, media professionals enjoy better salaries within media organizations than ever before.’ Reflecting on his own experience at Sahara, Upendra Rai recounted that during his tenure as the CEO of Sahara News Network in 2009, his annual salary surpassed Rs 2 crore. He further shared that he personally signed offer letters for journalists earning salaries of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.

He went on to emphasize that those currently asserting journalism lacking prospects are often individuals who are willing to accept a government contract job for 17 thousand rupees or take on clerical roles due to fear of risk. He underlined the reluctance to embrace risk due to fear, but also noted that those who dare to take calculated risks have achieved significant advancements.”

“Empowering Self-Determination: Making Life Choices Beyond a Certain Age”

Upendra Rai’s Guidance: Embrace Your True Calling and Self-Determination “Continuing his address, Upendra Rai emphasized that our purpose in this world isn’t to fulfill others’ desires. Instead, he advised the students to heed their inner voice and make decisions accordingly. He stressed the significance of following the path illuminated by Buddha and adhering to his teachings. Moreover, Chairman urged them to cultivate a readiness for sacrifices along their journey. He highlighted that as life progresses, the responsibility of making decisions should rest with the individual. After all, we haven’t embarked on this journey to live life on someone else’s terms.”

“The Significance of a Mentor in Our Journey”

The Vital Role of a Guru: Nurturing Success and Knowledge “Upendra Rai emphasized the paramount importance of having a mentor in our lives. A guru not only molds our life’s direction but also awakens the consciousness of our knowledge. He stressed that for success in life, the foundation lies in respecting our Guru. Such reverence contributes to our well-being. Upendra Rai highlighted that knowledge acquisition without a guru’s guidance is often a challenging endeavor.”

“Guru: Facilitating Interviews with Supreme Consciousness”

Guided by the Guru: An Interview with the Supreme Consciousness,  “We engage in a profound dialogue with the Supreme Consciousness under the guidance of a guru. It’s essential to reflect on our life’s achievements. Let’s all lend an ear to our inner voice, our soul’s wisdom.”
