The bollywood movie ‘Dolly Ki Doli’ seems to be the inspiration for this ‘Looteri Dulhan’. The ‘Dulhan’ used to get married to men really quickly and looted them. Dausa Police has caught the girl in Rajasthan. She chose the name ‘Nisha’ to execute the crimes. She used t get married to men in a hurry so that they would not have much time to know about her background. Then the newly married bride would go away with all the jewellery and money.

She managed to do it thrice in just 3 months in different areas – Bhilwaram Dausa, and Panipat.   Bhilwara in May, Dausa in June, and Panipat in July: A Series of Deceptions

June was the month of Robberies and Weddings

A young man in Dausa became connected with some matchmakers, which is how the tale got started. On June 14, they were married, and a week later, the bride disappeared, claiming she had to go see her family. But she didn’t return. Instead, she would demand cash from the grooms, and when they grew concerned, they called the police. This sparked a chain of circumstances that made the bride’s dishonest behavior apparent.

Nurse turned into ‘Looteri Dulhan’

Nisha, sometimes known as Sonia, surprised everyone by possessing a nursing degree. But she went to fraud instead of using it for a legitimate profession. Sangita and Anita, her accomplices, were also apprehended by police along with her. There appears to be a large network of con artists at work, including some matchmakers and marriage bureaus.

Here goes the pattern that she followed

She defrauded a groom in Bhilwara in May before relocating to Dausa in June. She committed a second con in Panipat in July before escaping once more. But this time, she was out of luck since the Dausa Police found her and stopped her wedding fraud.

The authorities are currently questioning Nisha and her associates and investigating other people who might be connected to this scam. As the investigation goes on, it becomes more and more obvious that this cunning bride, who has a history in nursing and a talent for deceit, switched from studying medicine to duping men and leaving them with nothing.
