Startling revelations have surfaced surrounding this year’s Miss Universe Indonesia competition, as six participants have come forward with grave accusations against the event’s organizers. The contestants have taken legal action, filing a case against the organizers for alleged sexual harassment.
The Miss Universe Indonesia Competition, which took place in the capital city of Jakarta, unfolded between July 29 and August 3. However, the event has been marred by claims made by six participants, who assert that they were subjected to distressing incidents orchestrated by the organizers.
According to the victims, during the course of the competition, they were escorted to a separate room. To their dismay, they were then asked to undress from the waist up in front of approximately 20 individuals present in the room. Shockingly, photographs and videos of these moments were captured. Disturbingly, the majority of the individuals in attendance were male.

Prompted by this alarming situation, all six victims have taken the matter to the Police and the Federal Investigation Agency, officially registering their complaint. The allegations have ignited a furore, sparking an intense inquiry into the incident.
Reports have indicated that the young women participating in the beauty pageant were allegedly coerced into this humiliating situation under the pretext of a physical examination. Supposedly, the organizers presented it as a requirement to verify their physical appearance for the competition. Notably, this unsettling demand was made in front of an audience predominantly comprised of men.
The Jakarta contest was held to choose Indonesia’s representative for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador. The Miss Universe Organisation, co-owned by Donald Trump from 1996 to 2002, has been holding the pageant since 1952.
