‘Pathaan’ Is The Best Day 1 Box Office Opener For Hindi Films In 2023, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ In The 6th Place, Check The Complete List Here

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar and starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra in the lead roles, has finally been released in theatres. The movie had strong support from corporate bookings, which helped produce respectable advance sales. Prior to its debut, it sold a total of 80,000 tickets through the three national chains PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. It was projected to make between Rs. 11 and Rs. 14 crores. The figures have fallen to the lower end of the range since the first day’s end. Early projections place Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s box office receipts between Rs. 10.25 and Rs. 10.50 crores net.

Of the overall receipts, the top 3 national chains, PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis, have taken in Rs 6.70 crore net. Even if the movie’s opening figure fell short of expectations, there is still a lot of work to be done before it can show a significant increase throughout the weekend, as has historically been the case with classic Bollywood movies.
