A 25-year-old guy mysteriously died in Sihorwa village, which is inside the confines of the Thawe police station. The young person’s body was apparently found by the side of the road near Gyani Mor, the intersection of the Gopalganj and Siwan districts. “After doing the post-mortem, we gave the deceased’s family members the body. The deceased has been identified as Vipin Kumar, 25, a resident of Sihorwa village and the son of Vishun Manjhi. He owns and runs a mobile phone repair shop in the Badharia Police Station area of the Siwan district, close to Giani More.
Vipin’s father suspected poisoning as a potential factor in his son’s demise. “Two unknown youths called my son from the shop and took him with them, but he did not return,” the father stated. “My son’s body was found by the side of the road by someone. When we learned of the incident, we went to the spot and called the Badharia Police Station. According to Vipin Kumar’s father, Vishun Manjhi, they refused to take the body and stated that the area fell under the purview of the Thawe Police Station.
According to Thawe police chief Shashi Ranjan, Vipin passed away because he had a bet with his friends that he would eat 150 momos at Giani More, which is close to the Badharia police station in the Siwan district. After eating momos, his condition deteriorated, and he was sent to Sadar Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. Before the cause of the death could be established, he noted, the post-mortem report would be made public.
