Australia vs England
The cricket rivalry between England and Australia is currently being seen by the entire world and is both amazing and bitter. The current Ashes in England have been nothing less than a big-budget motion picture. Ben Stokes, Steve Smith, Usman Khawaja, and other players have made it challenging to look away from the excitement on the field. However, there hasn’t been a shortage of hostility and teasing between the two sides. Nothing, however, rivaled the intensity sparked by Jonny Bairstow’s dismissal on Day 5 of the Lord’s Test, which Australia ultimately won by 43 runs to take a 2-0 series lead.

In addition to reigniting the age-old spirit of cricket discussion, Bairstow’s dismissal of Alex Carey infuriated English fans to the point where even the fans’ own members were unable to restrain themselves from assaulting the Australian cricketers in the Long Room. Despite the MCC’s quick action in suspending three members in response to a formal complaint from Cricket Australia, the controversy is far from over, as both Prime Ministers have weighed in with opposing views on the firing of Jesse Bairstow.
Rishi Saunak targets Australian players
In a formal statement issued through a spokeswoman, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak supported the England team and charged the Australian players with violating the rules of the game.

The spokesman said: “The prime minister concurs with (England captain) Ben Stokes, who said he just wouldn’t want to win a game in the way that Australia did. Although Sunak had no intention of reiterating the significant diplomatic rifts caused by England’s “Bodyline” tactics during the 1932–33 Ashes Down Under, he did intend to lodge an official protest with Australian Prime
Minister Anthony Albanese
Anthony Albanese, the prime minister of Australia, also joined in by making a subtle jab at the English media and fans for labeling the Aussies “cheats.”
