Do you know that Om Raut once disparaged the Shah Rukh Khan movie Fan? The internet, however, never forgets. Some people have retrieved his earlier tweets amid the growing animosity directed towards his movie Adipurush. Fans are upset because he allegedly made fun of Lord Hanuman in one of them.

During the Adipurush Dialogue Debate, Om Raut’s old tweet asking if Hanuman was deaf goes viral.

He asked, “Was God Hanuman Deaf? ” in the tweet. Nearby residents believe this to be true. playing “really loud” music during Hanuman Jayanti. and all tracks that are not related.

A Twitter user responded to this by asking, “How can we expect someone who have such opinions on Hindu gods to develop a Good film on the Ramayana? Adipurush is a blatant Bollywood conspiracy to falsify our past and alienate the younger generation from their heritage.

Reportedly, Om Raut has deleted the tweet after it went viral.

 

Meanwhile, the writer of the film Manoj Muntashir has defended the Lord Hanuman’s ‘Jalegi Bhi Tere Baap Ki’ dialogue saying that it was intentional.

“I’m from a little town where our grandparents used to speak this language to us when they read us stories from the Ramayan. One more thing: the dialogue you stated has been employed in our nation’s greatest saints’ and storytellers’ works in exactly the same way that I have (in Adipurush). This dialogue has already been written, so I’m not the first to come up with it.

Hanuman Seat Controversy

Before the film hit the silver screen, the producers of Adipurush implemented a unique move by reserving one seat per theater to honor Lord Hanuman.

However, an unwitting cinegoer inadvertently occupied the seat intended for Lord Hanuman. This led to a confrontation, resulting in the audience member being attacked and verbally abused.

Sharing the clip of the altercation, a Twitter user wrote, “A person was attacked by Prabhas fans for sitting in a seat allocated to Lord Hanuman in Bramarambha theatre Hyderabad in the early hours of this morning. (Audio muted due to abusive words)”.
