Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked world leaders on Wednesday for their warm wishes. He marked 25 years at the helm of government.

PM Modi thanked Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and reaffirmed India’s Strategic Partnership with Nigeria. He pledged continued cooperation for a more inclusive, prosperous and peaceful world.

“Thank you, President Tinubu. India and Nigeria are close partners and leading voices of the Global South. I look forward to continuing our cooperation to further strengthen our Strategic Partnership and advance our shared vision for a more inclusive, prosperous and peaceful world,” PM Modi posted on X.

He thanked Dominica Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and reaffirmed India’s enduring friendship with the Caribbean nation.

“Thank you, Prime Minister Skerrit, for your warm wishes and thoughtful words. India deeply values its enduring friendship with Dominica. We look forward to further strengthening our partnership and working together for the shared progress and prosperity of the people of our nations,” he wrote.

PM Modi thanked Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever and Philippine President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr. He pledged to deepen bilateral ties and India’s Strategic Partnership with the Philippines.

He thanked Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, stressing their enduring partnership rooted in mutual trust. He expressed support for a prosperous Bhutan and Viksit Bharat.

PM Modi appreciated Botswana President Duma Boko’s wishes and pledged to strengthen bilateral ties.

PM Modi began his political leadership as Gujarat Chief Minister on October 7, 2001. He became Prime Minister in 2014 after serving as Chief Minister until then.

He took charge during Gujarat’s post-Bhuj earthquake challenges and political difficulties. His tenure at the Centre has expanded India’s global profile, strengthened ties with major powers and deepened its role in the Global South.
