Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), operated by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), is expanding its ground transport network ahead of the Winter Schedule, which runs from October 25, 2026 to March 27, 2027.
The airport will offer passengers buses, taxis, autorickshaws, car rentals and airport shuttles connecting Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune and other parts of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation will launch electric e-Shivai services from NMIA on October 7. Fares will stand at ₹450 for Pune, ₹210 for Borivali and ₹170 for Dadar East.
Children below 12 and women using a National Common Mobility Card will receive half-fare.
The initial routes will connect Dadar, Borivali and Pune, while services to Thane and Nashik are planned for mid-November.
Chalo Bus will operate 21 daily services linking NMIA with Marol, Bandra, Dadar and the World Trade Centre in Colaba.
Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport will run seven dedicated airport routes connecting Terminal 1 with Kharkopar, Targhar, Belapur, Nerul, Panvel, Khandeshwar and the Airport Project Office.
Uber Go, Uber Premier and Uber Auto will provide app-based travel options, while prepaid taxis, autorickshaws and car rentals will offer additional choices. Bharat Taxi will deploy up to 40 vehicles from October 10.
A complimentary hourly shuttle will connect NMIA with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Cityflo, Aarya and Chalo will operate the inter-airport service.
The airport plans to scale ground transport capacity to 4,594 vehicles, including app-based taxis, car rentals, autos and buses.
NMIA also connects with Panvel, Targhar and Bamandongri railway stations and major road corridors. The airport is further working to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure with Adani TotalEnergies Gas.
