New Delhi will host the special cultural programme ‘Karwan Geeton Ka… Neeraj’ on Sunday, October 4, celebrating the literary legacy of renowned Hindi poet and lyricist Padma Bhushan Gopal Das Neeraj.
Bharat Express News Network, Mahakavi Gopal Das Neeraj Foundation Trust and Sonvi Events Mumbai are organising the event to mark Hindi Diwas and promote the Hindi language and literature.
Bharat Express News Network Chairman and Managing Director Upendrra Rai will play an important role in the programme, which seeks to take Neeraj’s literary legacy to a new generation while highlighting the tradition of Hindi poetry and film songs.
Union Minister of State SP Singh Baghel will be the chief guest, while BJP leaders Harish Dwivedi and Sunil Bansal and filmmaker Boney Kapoor will attend as distinguished guests.
The event will also honour personalities from different fields, including Puneet Kumar, Manoj Dwivedi, Alok Yadav, Pawan Kumar and former Tamil Nadu DGP Shailesh Yadav, for their contributions to public service and other areas.
‘Karwan Geeton Ka… Neeraj’ will take place from 6:45 PM to 9 PM at Mavalankar Hall, Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The programme will feature musical and cultural presentations celebrating Neeraj’s timeless works and contributions to Hindi literature and songs.
The event will bring together literary and cultural enthusiasts to remember Neeraj’s celebrated works and highlight the continuing relevance of Hindi poetry and literature.
It will also provide a platform to showcase the rich cultural tradition associated with his writings and songs, while encouraging greater appreciation of Hindi among audiences and younger generations.
