Karnataka BJP President and MLA BY Vijayendra met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in Hubballi on Saturday. They discussed the party’s organisational work and its campaign against the Congress government in Karnataka.

Vijayendra said the meeting took place during the BJP’s Seva Sankalpa Abhiyan. The campaign marks Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years of public service and leadership.

“Today, I met our senior leader and Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in Hubballi and held discussions,” Vijayendra said.

He described Shah’s leadership and efforts towards Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a developed India as a constant source of inspiration for BJP workers.

Vijayendra submitted details of the BJP’s Ballari Chalo padayatra to Shah. He outlined the support received from party workers and the public during the march.

The BJP organised the yatra to protest what it calls corruption and anti-people policies of the Karnataka government.

Vijayendra sought Shah’s guidance to intensify the campaign and highlight the government’s alleged failures. He said Shah appreciated Ballari Chalo and the party’s organisational activities.

The BJP leader said the party would continue protests and public awareness programmes to strengthen its organisation in Karnataka. He said these efforts aim to bring a BJP government to power in 2028.

Ballari Chalo ran from September 1 to 10. The march covered around 175 to 200 km from Lingasugur to Ballari through nine Assembly constituencies.
