Delhi-NCR may receive light to moderate rain on Friday as the southwest monsoon weakens. The Meteorological Department forecasts partly cloudy skies and no warning of heavy rainfall, storms or thunderstorms.

Daytime temperatures may remain between 33°C and 35°C, while the minimum temperature could settle between 23°C and 25°C. Morning temperatures are likely to hover around 25°C to 27°C, with humidity expected to remain between 60 per cent and 80 per cent.

As monsoon activity declines across North India, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and the NCR are likely to see limited rainfall. Several areas recorded heavy rain and strong winds on Thursday, but Friday is expected to bring more moderate conditions.

The sky may remain partly cloudy, with isolated light rain or drizzle possible. The rainfall probability stands at around 5 to 12 per cent. The weather department expects largely clear conditions over the next 24 hours, although isolated showers may occur.

Higher-altitude areas have also reported changing weather conditions, including snowfall, as the monsoon weakens. Rainfall activity across North India is expected to remain minimal in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Delhi-NCR recorded ‘satisfactory’ air quality. AQI readings included 104 at CRRI Mathura Road, 95 at Burari Crossing, 121 at North Campus, 83 at Pusa, 62 at Aya Nagar, 66 at Shadipur, 47 at NSIT Dwarka, 68 at ITO, 62 at DTU, 127 at Sirifort, 89 at Mandir Marg, 99 at RK Puram, 70 at Ashok Vihar, 88 at Dwarka Sector 8 and 117 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
