Dr Dinesh Sharma Urges Students To Dream Big At PGDM Inauguration

Rajya Sabha MP and former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dr Dinesh Sharma, said that a good educational institution has the power to shape a student’s life by providing knowledge, discipline and the right values.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the new PGDM academic session at Sparsh Global Business School in Knowledge Park, Greater Noida, Dr Dinesh Sharma said that student life is filled with energy, determination and the confidence to achieve even the most challenging goals.

Speaking as the Chief Guest, Dr Dinesh Sharma urged students to set ambitious goals and pursue them with dedication and perseverance. He remarked that nothing is impossible for those who are willing to work hard and remain committed to their aspirations.

Quoting former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Dr Dinesh Sharma reminded students that dreaming big is the first step towards success and that consistent effort is essential to turn those dreams into reality. He also advised them to learn from their elders, value time, and practise restraint in speech.

According to him, individuals should avoid both ego and misconceptions, as these can hinder personal growth.

Dr Dinesh Sharma observed that genuine progress often attracts criticism, adding that only those who move forward face opposition. He stressed that courage is essential for earning respect and building a meaningful career.

Vision for India

Highlighting the importance of India’s cultural heritage, Dr Dinesh Sharma said the government is encouraging the use of Hindi and regional languages while preserving the country’s traditions and values. He said that a person’s character, culture, and conduct define their identity, not their position or status.

Dr Dinesh Sharma also spoke about India’s growing global recognition, attributing it to the talent and intellectual capabilities of the country’s youth. He encouraged students to contribute to nation-building through ethical leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and excellence in management.

Expressing confidence in the newly admitted PGDM batch, Dr Dinesh Sharma said they would build successful careers while making meaningful contributions to society and the nation’s development through knowledge, commitment, and integrity.

Several distinguished guests attended the event, including Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Uttarakhand, Mrs Sunita Singh; Sparsh Business School Chairman Shishir Agrawal; GT Bharat Managing Partner Rahul Kapoor; CEO Amit Saxena; Roshan Agrawal; Arun Kedia; Jindal Group Dean Pankaj Gupta; and Akhil Bharatiya Gurjar Mahasabha Vice-President Savinder Bhati, among others.
