England sealed the five-match T20I series after defeating India by nine wickets in the fourth encounter at the County Ground, Bristol.
Captain Harry Brook smashed an unbeaten 79 off 35 deliveries, while Phil Salt remained unbeaten on 59 from 42 balls as the hosts comfortably chased 159 in 13.5 overs to take an unbeatable 3-0 lead.
After losing Jos Buttler early in the innings, England recovered superbly through an unbeaten 151-run partnership between Brook and Salt.
Brook launched an aggressive counter-attack against both the seamers and spinners, while Salt played a composed supporting innings to guide England home with 37 deliveries remaining.
Opting to bat first, India suffered another disappointing top-order collapse before skipper Shreyas Iyer steadied the innings with a determined knock of 80 not out from 49 balls. His innings included four boundaries and five sixes, while Shivam Dube added 22.
The rest of the batting line-up failed to build meaningful partnerships, leaving India with 158/7 after 20 overs.
England’s bowling attack kept India’s batters under pressure throughout the innings. Jofra Archer returned figures of 2/20, while Josh Tongue claimed 2/36, preventing the visitors from posting a competitive total.
India made an early breakthrough by dismissing Buttler, but the bowlers failed to trouble Brook and Salt thereafter.
The pair dominated the chase with controlled aggression, ensuring England completed the target comfortably and secured the series before the final match.
