Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the residences of N Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan in Hyderabad on Sunday after inaugurating development projects and healthcare facilities in the city.
Following events at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre and the inauguration of Sindhu Hospital in Cyberabad, the Prime Minister visited Pawan Kalyan’s residence in Jubilee Hills to enquire about his health after the actor-politician underwent surgery last month.
Amid tight security arrangements, PM Modi met the Jana Sena Party chief, who underwent surgery in Hyderabad on April 18.
The Prime Minister had earlier spoken to him over the phone and wished him a speedy recovery.
After meeting Pawan Kalyan, Prime Minister Modi proceeded to the residence of Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu in Jubilee Hills.
Naidu and his son, Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh, welcomed the Prime Minister.
PM Modi and Naidu reportedly held a meeting for around an hour and discussed various issues during their interaction. Both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are allies of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.
Ahead of the visit, Naidu posted on X, “We are deeply honoured and delighted to welcome Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji to our residence today. This is a truly special and memorable moment for our family.”

Earlier in the day, PM Modi inaugurated Sindhu Hospital and praised its efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure and integrate advanced technology in medical services.
The Prime Minister will likely address a public rally organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad later in the evening. This marks his first visit to Telangana after beginning his third term as Prime Minister.
