Filmmaker-producer Karan Johar has revealed that he is experiencing intense FOMO while working on his upcoming project at a remote location.
He shared on Instagram Stories that he currently lacks access to cinemas, leaving him unable to watch the much-discussed film Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
Johar expressed eagerness to watch the film and praised the industry’s collective support.
He noted that the widespread appreciation for an Indian film reflects a rare sense of unity within the fraternity.
He also acknowledged the efforts of director Aditya Dhar, production houses, and lead actor Ranveer Singh.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge has emerged as a major box-office success, registering strong occupancy levels and multiple sold-out shows across regions.
The film has performed well in dubbed versions, indicating a broad pan-India appeal.
Prominent industry figures, including Ayushmann Khurrana and Anupam Kher, have lauded its scale and performances.
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma described its success as a shift from conventional filmmaking patterns.
