Defending champions India will face the Netherlands in their final Group A match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 today. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, with the contest scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM IST.
Under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, India has already secured qualification for the Super Eight stage. The Men in Blue have been in commanding form, registering three comprehensive victories in the tournament so far.
India confirmed their place in the next round with a convincing 61-run triumph over Pakistan at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Before that, they began their campaign with a 29-run win against the United States of America and followed it up with a dominant 93-run victory over Namibia.
The Netherlands, led by Scott Edwards, has experienced an inconsistent run in the competition. The Dutch side currently occupies fourth position in the group standings, having secured one win from three matches.
With progression no longer possible, they will aim to deliver a strong performance and conclude their campaign on a positive note.
Head-to-Head Record
India and the Netherlands have faced each other only once in T20 Internationals. In that meeting, India recorded a comfortable 56-run win during the 2022 T20 World Cup in Sydney.
