President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted the people of Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of the state’s foundation day. They acknowledged the state’s deep-rooted cultural heritage and its expanding role in India’s growth story.
President Droupadi Murmu shared her message on the social media platform X. In doing so, she extended warm wishes to the citizens of Uttar Pradesh.
Taking to X, President Murmu posted, “My best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Uttar Pradesh Day. This land of glorious history and rich culture has been a strong pillar in India’s journey of development.”
“I am confident that Uttar Pradesh will continue to advance on the path of continuous progress. I wish for a bright future for the hardworking and talented people of this state,” the post further read.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to X to congratulate the people of Uttar Pradesh on the foundation day. He praised the residents of the state for their enduring contribution to India’s cultural prosperity and civilisational heritage.
“My best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Uttar Pradesh Day. This land of glorious history and rich culture has been a strong pillar in India’s journey of development,” PM Modi posted on X.
He further added, “I am confident that Uttar Pradesh will continue to advance on the path of continuous progress. I wish for a bright future for the hardworking and talented people of this state.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his greetings on the occasion, highlighting Uttar Pradesh’s spiritual, cultural, and geographical significance.
Taking to X, Shah posted, “Heartfelt greetings to all brothers and sisters of Uttar Pradesh on the state’s Foundation Day. Nurtured by the invaluable heritage of Sanatan culture, the sacred and fertile land of the Ganga-Yamuna, Uttar Pradesh is that soil which has always propelled the nation forward on the path of culture, devotion, strength, and resolve.”
“Today, under the double-engine government, Uttar Pradesh is setting new benchmarks in development and world-class infrastructure. I wish that the state always remains steadfast on the path of progress,” the post further read.
