The Adani Group’s clean-energy businesses delivered a landmark performance in 2025, cementing the conglomerate’s position as a central force in India’s renewable energy push.
Its solar, wind and green hydrogen units achieved record scale, rolled out first-of-its-kind projects and advanced critical technologies, reflecting both commercial momentum and strategic alignment with India’s climate and energy-security goals, sources said.
Adani Solar crossed a major milestone by surpassing 15,000 megawatts of cumulative module shipments, becoming the first and fastest Indian manufacturer to reach that scale.
The achievement highlighted India’s growing manufacturing depth in solar photovoltaics at a time when global supply chains continue to realign, and domestic demand accelerates under ambitious national renewable targets.
Adani Wind also marked a breakout year by crossing one gigawatt of installations of India’s largest onshore wind turbine.
The business strengthened its industrial base while positioning itself for international expansion, reinforcing India’s push to emerge as a global hub for clean-energy manufacturing.
In a decisive step toward future fuels, Adani New Industries Limited commissioned India’s first off-grid 5 MW green hydrogen pilot plant in Kutch.
Powered entirely by solar energy and backed by battery storage, the facility operates through a fully automated electrolyser designed to adapt dynamically to renewable-energy variability.
The project offers a working model for decentralised green hydrogen production, a sector central to India’s long-term decarbonisation strategy.
Scale, Speed & Green Power
The broader backdrop in 2025 favoured clean energy. India’s renewable sector expanded rapidly as policymakers pushed capacity additions, industries sought cleaner power, and global buyers demanded stronger sustainability and traceability standards.
Solar, wind and green hydrogen emerged as high-growth segments despite pricing volatility and fast-evolving technology benchmarks.
Adani Solar widened its national reach to more than 550 districts through an extensive retail network. It reinforced its credibility by securing TÜV Rheinland certification for long-term module reliability and earning its eighth consecutive Kiwa PVEL Top Performer ranking. Global agencies also recognised the company, placing it among the world’s top photovoltaic manufacturers and granting it Tier-1 status.
Adani Wind deepened its manufacturing strength, securing a 304 MW external order book and targeting 2.5 GW of internal deliveries in the coming fiscal year.
The company achieved major production milestones, indigenised key turbine components with Larsen & Toubro and entered overseas markets with its first export shipment to Europe.
Across its clean-energy portfolio, the group invested heavily in skills, safety and sustainability. Its teams won multiple national quality awards, while Adani Solar earned international recognition for transparency and governance practices.
Looking ahead to 2026, the group plans to accelerate localisation, expand exports, deploy next-generation solar and wind technologies and advance early commercial pathways for green hydrogen.
After a defining year in 2025, Adani’s clean-energy push has moved from ambition to execution, shaping both industrial policy and India’s role in the global energy transition.
