Sambhal Hosts Grand Opening Of Kalki Katha; CMD Upendrra Rai And Manoj Tiwari Back Sanatan Dharma Parliament

CMD Upendrra Rai attended the opening of the Kalki Katha at Kalki Dham and, with Manoj Tiwari, voiced support for the Sanatan Dharma Parliament.

Religious celebrations commenced on Monday as a week-long Kalki Katha, scheduled from 1 to 7 December, opened at Kalki Dham. The Dham is located in Enchora Kamboh in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district.

Among the early attendees was Upendrra Rai, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express News Network, who visited the venue alongside BJP MP Manoj Tiwari.

A large gathering of saints from various parts of India has already arrived at the Dham to take part in the spiritual programme.

Festivities are likely to start with a floral shower from a helicopter, marking the ceremonial opening of the event.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam, the Peethadheeshwar of the Dham, greeted CMD Upendrra Rai and MP Manoj Tiwari upon their arrival. Several other saints were present during the welcome.

Kalki Dham, currently under construction in Sambhal, honours Kalki, the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the temple on 19 February 2024.

Rajasthan’s skilled artisans are overseeing the construction, ensuring traditional craftsmanship throughout the project.

During their visit, CMD Upendrra Rai and Manoj Tiwari displayed posters in support of the Sanatan Dharma Parliament. They also voiced their reverence for Sanatan Dharma.

The Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust is overseeing the temple’s development.

Plans for the complex cover an area of 4.5 acres, with the main spire designed to reach a height of 171 feet.

A distinctive architectural feature is the inclusion of ten sanctums (garbhagrihas), each dedicated to one of Lord Vishnu’s ten incarnations.

Construction work officially began on 21 March 2025, using pink stone from Bansi Paharpur, and notably, the temple will be built without the use of steel or iron.
