‘Golden Chapter Begins’: Yogi Adityanath On PM Modi’s Flag Hoisting At Ayodhya

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hoist a grand saffron flag atop the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya on Tuesday, an event that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has described as a defining moment in India’s cultural and civilisational journey.

The ceremony, scheduled for around midday, marks the ceremonial completion of the temple’s construction, and people across the country are celebrating it as a spiritually significant milestone.

Posting on X, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote that a ‘golden chapter’ is being added to the history of faith, civilisation, and humanity.

He said that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the hoisting of the saffron flag symbolises India’s religious and cultural restoration.

He also noted the presence of RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat, emphasising that the moment underscores the triumph of truth and cultural revival.

Yogi Adityanath added that the saffron flag represents the inner strength that has, for centuries, dispelled the darkness of unrighteousness and upheld the light of dharma.

“This is not merely a flag; it is the symbol of that inner strength which, in every era, has pierced through the darkness of unrighteousness to keep the light of righteousness undimmed. Jai Jai Siya Ram,” he wrote.

In another message, the Chief Minister said that Ayodhya, the foremost of the seven sacred cities, is witnessing the renaissance of Sanatan culture, which is energising the entire nation.

He said that the faith and anticipation of millions of Ram devotees are reaching a new pinnacle as the country immerses itself in devotion.

Specially Crafted Flag Designed for Temple Summit

The saffron flag that the Prime Minister will hoist measures 22 feet in length and 11 feet in width.

A parachute specialist from Ahmedabad designed the flag, ensuring its 2–3 kilogram structure can withstand strong winds and the height of the temple’s 161-foot summit.

Officials will raise it on a 42-foot flagpole during the auspicious midday period.

Security forces have significantly tightened arrangements across Ayodhya ahead of the event.

Authorities have announced that they will not permit guests to carry mobile phones inside the temple premises, ensuring security and maintaining the sanctity of the occasion.

Thousands of devotees, spiritual leaders, saints, and dignitaries will gather at the temple complex to witness the historic moment.

People regard the flag-hoisting ceremony as another major milestone in Ayodhya’s ongoing cultural renaissance.

Leaders have said that the event reflects not only deep religious devotion but also the enduring civilisational ethos of India.

CM Yogi extended a warm welcome to all distinguished guests who have arrived in Ayodhya to witness what he described as a divine and historic occasion.
