Sambhal in Uttar Pradesh is preparing for a historic spiritual event as Kalki Dham hosts the world’s first Kalki Katha.
The seven-day event from 1 to 7 December will feature narration by Jagadguru Ramabhadracharya.
This Katha is based on the Kalki Purana, which describes Lord Vishnu’s prophesied tenth incarnation, Kalki.
Scholars and devotees call it a milestone, comparing it to Shukdev Ji’s first narration of the Bhagavat Katha.
Similarly, Jagadguru Ramabhadracharya will narrate the first public Kalki Katha, setting a new tradition in Sanatan spiritual discourse.
Event Supervision and Planning
The Katha is being organised under the supervision of Acharya Pramod Krishnam, the head of Kalki Dham.
Extensive preparations are underway to welcome tens of thousands of devotees from across India and abroad.
The event is expected to draw attention from religious scholars, spiritual leaders, and followers of Sanatan Dharma.
The Katha will take place within the premises of the Kalki Dham temple complex, where large-scale construction is progressing rapidly.
The temple is further set to become one of India’s most remarkable spiritual sites. Once completed, the upcoming Kalki Dham will span one-and-a-half times the size of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
However, its sanctum sanctorum (garbhagriha) is expected to become the largest in the world, reflecting a grand architectural vision dedicated to Lord Kalki.
Foundation Laid by PM Narendra Modi
The foundation stone of Kalki Dham was laid on 19 February 2024 by PM Narendra Modi in Sambhal’s Aankra Kamboh area.
CM Yogi Adityanath and Acharya Pramod Krishnam attended the event, underscoring its cultural and spiritual importance.
With the world’s first Kalki Katha now being organised, Sambhal is gaining unprecedented spiritual prominence.
The ongoing construction of the grand Kalki Dham complex further positions the region to become a major global centre of religious tourism.
Moreover, the event is set to draw international attention and strengthen the region’s spiritual significance.
