PM Modi To Attend Flag Hoisting Ceremony At Ram Temple On November 25

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has announced that a ceremonial flag hoisting will take place atop the shikhara of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, coinciding with the sacred day traditionally marking Lord Ram’s wedding.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the landmark event, officials confirmed.

Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Trust, highlighted the spiritual and cultural significance of the occasion and said that the administration has fully prepared to manage the expected large gathering.

He added that the VIPs, including the Prime Minister, are likely to depart the Ayodhya district around 2 PM, ensuring smooth arrangements for both dignitaries and the public.

Temple authorities said that this year’s festivities will be visually spectacular, with all subsidiary shrines dedicated to Lord Mahadev, Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman, Suryadev, Maa Bhagwati, Maa Annapurna, and Sheshavatar lavishly decorated alongside the main temple.

Under the guidance of renowned Kashi scholar Ganeshwar Shastri, 108 Acharyas from Ayodhya, Kashi, and South India will conduct the rituals.

The hoisting ceremony will display a saffron flag featuring the symbol of the Sun, which signifies eternal energy, virtue, divine radiance, and enlightenment—qualities associated with Lord Ram.

Ongoing construction and technical arrangements

Earlier, Ram Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra briefed reporters on preparations, noting that most of the temple and six subsidiary shrines are complete.

He confirmed that the team is now focusing on beautifying the premises, including plantations and aesthetic enhancements.

Experts, including specialists from the Defence Ministry, are overseeing technical requirements for hoisting the flag atop the temple’s main spire, ensuring the ceremony proceeds without disruption.

Mishra emphasised that the Prime Minister’s Office is consulting on the plans to finalise them and guarantee a smooth and dignified celebration.

The upcoming event marks a significant milestone for devotees and the nation, combining religious tradition with meticulous planning for a grand, spiritually enriching ceremony.
