Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan and Intelligence Bureau Director Tapan Kumar Deka attended the meeting.
Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha and NIA Director General Sadanand Vasant Date also participated. Jammu and Kashmir DGP Nalin Prabhat joined virtually.
A team of over 500 officers is investigating the explosion, while security has been intensified across Delhi-NCR.
Investigators are scrutinising over 1,000 CCTV clips, and NSG commandos have secured key locations.
Investigators suspect the attackers planned the car blast as a suicide attack to cause maximum casualties.
Agencies are also monitoring social media and retrieving dump data from mobile phones active near the Red Fort at the time of the explosion.
Investigators expect this data to reveal communication links connected to the attack.
Amit Shah directed the NIA, IB, and Delhi Police Special Cell to work closely and vowed, “We will leave no stone unturned.”
Authorities issued security alerts in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Mumbai and deployed extra forces around public and religious sites.
The blast occurred Monday evening when a Haryana-registered Hyundai i20 exploded near Gate No 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, killing at least eight people and injuring dozens.
In Bhutan, Prime Minister Modi condemned the attack and assured strict action. “Our agencies will get to the bottom of this conspiracy. The conspirators will not be spared,” he said.
The BJP later criticised the Opposition for politicising the tragedy, saying the Congress and its allies were working against national interest.
