‘Mann Ki Baat’ Goes Multilingual With AI; Brings PM Modi’s Voice To All Regions

PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ now uses AI to deliver his address in multiple Indian languages, in his own voice.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, has embraced cutting-edge technology, now offering listeners the address in multiple Indian languages, all delivered in the Prime Minister’s own voice through Artificial Intelligence.

This pioneering use of AI allows citizens from different parts of India to experience the programme in their native tongue while retaining the personal touch of PM Modi’s voice, enhancing engagement and connection with audiences nationwide.

The programme is currently available in a range of regional languages, including Odia, Malayalam, Punjabi, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, Assamese, as well as English, making the content accessible to millions across the country.

By leveraging AI, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ ensures that its messages are easier to comprehend and relate to, regardless of language, allowing a broader segment of the population to connect with the Prime Minister’s communication.

‘Mann Ki Baat’ serves as a platform through which the Prime Minister discusses national issues, social topics, and inspirational stories, aiming to engage citizens directly, recognise grassroots achievements, and motivate active participation in nation-building.

Broadcast Across Platforms

The programme is broadcast on the last Sunday of every month via All India Radio, as well as on television and digital platforms, reaching audiences across India and internationally.

With the integration of AI, the programme has taken a significant step towards inclusivity, breaking linguistic barriers and enabling more Indians to experience the Prime Minister’s messages in a familiar voice.

PM Modi often highlights stories of individuals making a difference in areas such as education, healthcare, environmental initiatives, innovation, and social service.

The show also showcases community-led efforts driven by youth, farmers, women, artisans, entrepreneurs, athletes, and self-help groups, while commemorating the contributions of lesser-known historical figures.

Over time, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has evolved into an influential soft tool for nation-building, shaping public discourse and celebrating India’s diversity, resilience, and dedication to social progress.
