From Gujarat to Global: A Life of Service
Born in Mehsana, Gujarat, on 17 September 1950, PM Narendra Modi served as Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 until 2014, before becoming Prime Minister.
Now in his third term, he has repeatedly used his birthday to focus on public service—launching welfare initiatives, engaging with citizens, and reinforcing his commitment to developing India.
Moreover, Industry leaders say PM Modi’s devotion has translated into visible transformation; India has grown in economic size and global respect, becoming self‑reliant and assertive on the international stage.
Global recognition, they say, stems not just from policy but from a leader’s constant engagement and vision.
