On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, celebrated on Wednesday, veteran actor Anupam Kher shared a sincere and emotional message in honour of India’s longest-serving Prime Minister in recent times.
Taking to Instagram, Kher posted a video recounting personal experiences and praising PM Modi’s leadership, discipline, and emotional intelligence.
In the video, Anupam Kher greeted the Prime Minister, posting, “Heartfelt wishes and many congratulations to you on your birthday! May the Lord bless you with a long and healthy life. May you continue to lead the nation for many years to come with the same generosity, determination, skill, focus, and selfless spirit.”

Reflecting on his long-standing acquaintance with the Prime Minister, Kher recalled their first meeting in Gujarat when PM Modi was the Chief Minister.
He spoke of how PM Modi graciously attended a special screening of Kher’s acclaimed film ‘A Wednesday’ in Ahmedabad, attending with ministers and local dignitaries.
Admiration for PM Modi’s Persona & Leadership
Kher shared his impressions of PM Modi’s unique personality, saying, “I come from a field where emotions are everything. And I found your personality truly unique. You’ve been leading the nation for over a decade, and I have never once seen you tired.”
The actor continued, “You have become a role model, not only for the youth, but also for middle-aged people and the elderly. The way you maintain yourself is deeply inspiring.”
He further praised PM Modi for boosting India’s global image, “You’ve always made Indians proud overseas. You’ve uplifted our spirits, and your dedication is beyond politics—you are a true leader.”
Anupam concluded the video by saying, “I feel deeply inspired by you, not only as a Prime Minister but also as a human being. On your 75th birthday, I wish you a very happy and healthy life ahead. Jai Hind!”
In the caption accompanying the video, Kher reiterated his admiration in Hindi, translating to, “Wishing you a long and healthy life, and may you continue to lead our nation with the same vision and strength.”
He also mentioned that his mother, Dulari, sends her love and even expressed a desire to speak with the Prime Minister, affectionately offering him maternal blessings in the absence of his own mother.
Anupam Kher’s message not only reflected his personal admiration for PM Modi but also echoed the sentiments of many Indians who see the Prime Minister as a symbol of strength, inspiration, and selfless service to the nation.
