Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna led the 43rd India Day Parade in New York, delighting thousands of fans and film enthusiasts.
The organisers honoured both stars as Grand Marshals at what is considered the largest Independence Day celebration outside India.

Videos of the actors waving to the cheering crowds quickly went viral on social media. Fans were especially excited to spot the duo briefly holding hands during the parade, sparking buzz online.
Despite the sweltering heat, both Vijay and Rashmika made a visible effort to interact warmly with attendees, earning appreciation from fans.
Ahead of the parade, Vijay Deverakonda shared a video of the Empire State Building illuminated in the Indian tricolour.
On Instagram, he called the moment an ‘absolute honour’ and expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended by the Empire State team.
“Got to light it up on our Independence day and also experience the beautiful hospitality of Team Empire state and the building’s stunning views and stories,” he wrote.

Vijay Deverakonda’s Upcoming Projects
On the professional front, Vijay Deverakonda is currently working on a film with Mythri Movie Makers, tentatively titled VD14. He is also collaborating with Sri Venkateswara Creations for another project, tentatively titled SVC 59.
Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna, too, has a packed slate of films. She will star in ‘Mysaa’, an emotional action thriller directed by Rawindra Pulle, in which she reportedly plays a woman from the Gond community. The project is being bankrolled by Ajay and Anil Sayyapureddy.
She will also headline director Rahul Ravindran’s upcoming entertainer ‘The Girlfriend’, alongside actor Dheekshith Shetty.
