
Veteran actor Chunky Panday has taken a nostalgic trip down memory lane, sharing his return to Kathmandu more than three decades after his last visit in 1989.
Posting on Instagram, the ‘Housefull 5’ star shared a series of photos from his recent visit, writing, “Visited Kathmandu after 1989. So beautiful, so green and the warmest Hospitality.”
In the pictures, Chunky is seen smiling warmly as he soaks in the scenic beauty of the Nepalese capital.

Earlier during his trip, the actor visited the revered Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Sharing glimpses from the temple on social media, Chunky expressed his spiritual joy, writing, “So blessed to get a Darshan at the Pashupatinath Temple in the month of Shravan.”

The temple, located along the Bagmati River in Kathmandu, holds deep religious significance, particularly during the holy month of Shravan.
On the professional front, Chunky Panday is preparing for the release of ‘Son of Sardaar 2’, the spiritual successor to the 2012 hit ‘Son of Sardaar’.
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the upcoming comedy features a star-studded ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Mrunal Thakur, Sanjay Mishra, Neeru Bajwa, and several others, including a special appearance by the late Mukul Dev.
The recently released trailer showcases the film’s quirky humour set against the backdrop of a vibrant wedding celebration, packed with eccentric characters and comic chaos.
‘Son of Sardaar 2’ will likely release in cinemas on 1 August 2025.
