Stock Market Closed: Indian market started flat amidst mixed global signals but bounced back stronger. Nifty increased by 158 points and closed at 18,053. Meanwhile, Sensex rose by 563 points and closed at 60,656. Nifty Bank climbed 68 points and closed at 42,235. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 37 closed in green and 13 in red. In Nifty Bank 12, 5 stocks closed in green mark and 7 closed in red mark. In today’s trading session, there was a boom in IT and Infra’s shares. Buying was seen in Energy, FMCG, and Realty stocks. After 2 days of commendable performance in the market, selling was seen in the PSU Bank index today. Midcap, Smallcap index closed flat.
