Paris Saint-Germain dominated Inter Miami CF with a 4-0 win to reach the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 quarterfinals.
From the start, PSG controlled the game and kept Miami on the back foot.
In the 4th minute, Barcola nearly scored after a pass from Kvaratskhelia but faced a strong save from Ustari. Just two minutes later, PSG scored the opener.
Vitinha delivered a cross from a free kick, and João Neves headed the ball perfectly to the far post.
PSG continued to press hard, with Hakimi and Vitinha trying shots that Miami’s goalkeeper Ustari saved.
Kvaratskhelia’s powerful strike also missed by inches.
Ruiz and Barcola’s partnership caused problems for Miami’s defence. After winning the ball near the opponent’s box, Barcola passed to Ruiz, who then assisted Neves.
The Portuguese midfielder calmly scored his second goal before halftime.
In the final moments of the first half, Tomas Aviles accidentally scored an own goal for Miami, increasing PSG’s lead.
Hakimi sealed the half with a goal just before the break, making it 4-0.
After halftime, Miami tried to respond with Messi and Tadeo Allende pushing forward.
However, PSG’s goalkeeper Donnarumma stayed strong and stopped all threats.
Miami created some chances but never seriously threatened PSG’s defence.
PSG maintained control and nearly added more goals with attempts from Doué, Barcola, and Kvaratskhelia.
Messi tried to inspire Miami, but PSG’s defence held firm.
The match ended 4-0, with PSG fully in command throughout.
Their strong performance sends them into the quarterfinals, showing why they are favourites in the tournament.
