
Actor R Madhavan marked 26 years of marriage with Sarita Birje by posting a touching message on Instagram, celebrating their enduring love and partnership. He described his life with Sarita as perfect, saying there is not a single moment he would want to change.
Early on Friday morning, Madhavan shared a close-up photo of Sarita smiling warmly at the camera.
Accompanying the image, he wrote: “To the woman who has given me everything I have ever wanted… In 26 years of marriage and 33 years of knowing each other, there is not one moment I would want to change and live it any other way… You have given me so much that, I don’t know what else to wish for… I am the one who is most blessed. Happy anniversary, my love.”

A Long Journey Together
Madhavan and Sarita first met in 1991 during a workshop. They tied the knot in 1999, before Madhavan rose to fame in mainstream cinema.
Over the years, Sarita has contributed behind the scenes as well, notably working as a costume designer for several of Madhavan’s films, including Guru En Aalu.
The couple welcomed their son, Vedaant Madhavan, in 2005. Vedaant has since made a name for himself as an international swimmer, showcasing the family’s diverse talents.
Madhavan’s Recent Work
Madhavan began his acting career with the critically acclaimed Mani Ratnam film Alai Payuthey in 2000.
His latest project was Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, a historical courtroom drama directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Ananya Panday alongside Madhavan.
The movie serves as a spiritual sequel to the historical action film Kesari.
It draws inspiration from the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, focusing on C Sankaran Nair and the events surrounding the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
Through his heartfelt Instagram post, Madhavan has offered fans a rare glimpse into his personal life, celebrating a love that has stood the test of time.
As he continues to build his career, his dedication to family remains a central and cherished part of his journey.
