An all-party Indian parliamentary delegation, led by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda, arrived in Bahrain on Friday to kick off a multi-nation diplomatic mission under ‘Operation Sindoor’.
As the first stop in this crucial tour, this strategic outreach aims to strengthen India’s regional engagement and convey its unyielding stand against cross-border terrorism.
Diplomatic Arrival In Bahrain
The Indian Embassy in Bahrain officially welcomed the delegation with a post on X stating, “The All-Party Delegation led by H.E. Baijayant Jay Panda, Member of Parliament, arrived in Bahrain. India’s unwavering stand against cross-border terrorism will be highlighted in all the engagements.”

Ambassador Vinod K Jacob received the group at the airport, setting the tone for a series of high-level engagements in the region.
Speaking ahead of the mission, Panda emphasised the cross-party nature of the delegation and its unified message.
“Our group represents senior members from across the political spectrum. The key message is India’s unity in standing against terrorism. After achieving battlefield success, we are determined to maintain global focus on this issue,” he said.
Panda also stressed that India is confronting a unique challenge in the form of state-sponsored terrorism.
“As recent developments show, more countries are acknowledging and supporting India’s position,” he added.
A Multi-Nation Outreach
The delegation will travel from Bahrain to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria, raising awareness about the persistent and evolving threat of terrorism, while firmly articulating India’s counter-terror stance.
Building on this comprehensive agenda, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, who is also part of the delegation, reiterated the mission’s urgency by emphasising the need to expose and isolate state-sponsored terrorism and bring global attention to the cross-border threats India continues to face.
“We are visiting these countries to present facts about state-sponsored terror from Pakistan, especially in light of tragic incidents like the Pahalgam attack,” he said.
Owaisi further emphasised that Pakistan has long provided training, shelter, and operational support to terror groups that infiltrate India’s borders to execute attacks.
Rajya Sabha MP Satnam Singh Sandhu also reaffirmed the purpose of the visit. “I am part of the Group 1 delegation, and our responsibility is to assert India’s voice in Bahrain,” he said.
The delegation aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation with key West Asian and North African nations through its visit.
In doing so, it underscores India’s active diplomatic engagement in the global fight against terrorism, thereby enhancing its role as a responsible power committed to regional and international stability.
