Paresh Rawal Addresses Rumours Surrounding ‘Hera Pheri 3’ Exit

Veteran Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal has publicly addressed the swirling rumours about his decision to step away from the eagerly awaited film Hera Pheri 3.

Taking to social media on Sunday, Rawal sought to clarify that his exit was not due to any creative disagreements with the film’s director, Priyadarshan, as many had speculated.

In a heartfelt tweet, Paresh Rawal stated, “I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I reiterate that there are no creative disagreements with the filmmaker. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr Priyadarshan the film director.”

This message highlights the actor’s deep admiration for Priyadarshan, with whom he has created some of Bollywood’s most iconic comedies.

The Hera Pheri franchise is renowned for its hilarious storyline and memorable characters.

Paresh Rawal’s portrayal of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte became a cultural phenomenon following the release of the original film in 2000, directed by Priyadarshan.

Alongside Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty, Rawal’s comedic timing and character work contributed greatly to the film’s enduring popularity.

The sequel, Phir Hera Pheri, released in 2006 and directed by Neeraj Vora, continued the story of the three hapless men involved in a chaotic kidnapping scheme.

The upcoming third instalment has been highly anticipated by fans, with Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty confirmed to reprise their roles.

However, Paresh Rawal’s departure has raised questions about the film’s future direction.

Possible Reasons Behind Rawal’s Exit

While Paresh Rawal has been clear that his departure is unrelated to creative differences, he has not disclosed the precise reasons for stepping away from the project.

Industry insiders suggest that scheduling conflicts or other professional commitments might have played a role in his decision.

Despite stepping away from Hera Pheri 3, Rawal’s professional relationship with Priyadarshan remains intact.

The actor will reunite with the director in the upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and Tabu.

The team plans to release the film in 2026, marking an exciting new collaboration.

Additionally, Rawal is working on another film titled Welcome to the Jungle, signalling a busy period ahead for the veteran actor.

Paresh Rawal’s clarification has helped to quell much of the speculation surrounding his exit from Hera Pheri 3.

Fans remain eager to see how the franchise will evolve without Baburao’s iconic presence, while also anticipating Rawal’s upcoming projects.

The actor’s enduring bond with Priyadarshan and continued involvement in exciting new films suggest that his contribution to Bollywood comedy remains as strong as ever.

As Bhooth Bangla and other projects develop, audiences can look forward to more memorable performances from Paresh Rawal in the near future.
