PM Modi Says ‘Made In India’ Weapons Proved Power In Operation Sindoor

“The world is witnessing the rise of Indian defence systems in modern warfare,” PM Modi said in his national address.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that Operation Sindoor proved the strength of ‘Made in India’ defence systems. He added that India’s home-grown weapons destroyed terror hubs and caused heavy damage to Pakistani airbases with precision strikes.

“The world is witnessing the rise of Indian defence systems in modern warfare,” PM Modi said in his national address.

Moreover, he said Pakistan was left frustrated and desperate after the strikes. Instead of joining the global fight against terrorism, it attacked Indian civilian targets. “Schools, temples, colleges, gurudwaras, homes, and even military bases were targeted,” he stated.

PM Modi pointed out how Pakistan’s missiles and drones failed against India’s air defences. “They crumbled like straw. Our systems neutralised them in the sky,” he said.

He explained that Pakistan prepared to strike Indian borders. But India hit deep into its core. Indian drones and missiles, including BrahMos, carried out precise strikes on key Pakistani airbases. “Within three days, they faced destruction beyond their expectations,” he added.

As a result, Pakistan turned to the global community, seeking help to calm tensions.

PM Modi stressed that India had always outperformed Pakistan in war. He said Operation Sindoor added a new layer to India’s defence strength. “We have shown power in both deserts and mountains. Now we lead in New Age Warfare too,” he said.

He praised Indian-made BrahMos missiles and SkyStriker drones. The drones were built in Bengaluru by Alpha Design Technologies and Israel’s Elbit Systems. “They marked a breakthrough in India’s defence self-reliance,” he said. The drones had a loitering ability of two hours and delivered accurate strikes.

PM Modi said Operation Sindoor showed the world that India’s defence industry can match any global power in 21st-century warfare.
