During Elecrama 2025, CEO Olivier Blum revealed that Schneider Electric will set up three new plants in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Ahmednagar, boosting the company’s presence in the rapidly growing Indian market.

To this end, CEO Blum emphasized that leveraging advanced technologies like digital grids, microgrids, and IoT-enabled systems will be essential in reducing emissions by 75% over the next 25 years.

As part of its long-term strategy, Schneider Electric has pledged to invest Rs 3,200 crore to expand its industrial footprint across India, adding an additional 1.2 million sq. ft. of manufacturing space by 2026.
Building on this commitment, the company aims to strengthen its presence in one of its most important global markets.
In line with this commitment, India remains a cornerstone of Schneider Electric’s global strategy, being the company’s third-largest market and one of its four strategic hubs.
