On Saturday, Delhi airport issued an official advisory confirming that all flights were operating normally after runway visibility improved.
Delhi airport used social media to advise passengers to check with their airline for updated flight details.
Taking to X, Indira Gandhi International Airport authorities posted, “Runway visibility at Delhi Airport has improved and all flights are operating normally.”
“Passengers are requested to contact their concerned airline for updated flight information,” the post added.

Meanwhile, dense fog continued to cover large parts of northern India on Saturday morning, including New Delhi, the National Capital Region, and the iconic Taj Mahal. Cities like Kanpur and Gwalior also faced similar foggy conditions.
As reported by ANI, In Kanpur, a group of elderly citizens gathered around a bonfire to stay warm.
Local auto driver Raj Kumar shared, “We face problems getting to work because it is so cold. Bonfires should at least be placed at the roundabouts.”
Raj Kumar’s colleague, Sunil Kumar Gupta, added, “There are a lot of problems arising due to the cold but the administration is not paying heed. It is still cold out there. What can we do about it? We are helpless.”
In Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, which is undergoing the harsh winter period known as ‘Chillai Kalan’, a tourist from Bhopal described the situation, 10:44 AM 1/11/202510:44 AM 1/11/2025stating, “We have been in Kashmir for the last 3-4 days. It is very cold here. The temperature is -3 degrees Celsius,” he said, pointing to a frozen Dal Lake.”
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) recorded Delhi’s temperature at 11 degrees Celsius on Saturday morning.
No flight diversions or cancellations were reported at Indira Gandhi International Airport, although fog caused delays for several trains.
