The Indo International Icon Awards 2024 Season 2 ceremony took place at the Mayor’s Hall in Juhu Lane, Andheri West, Mumbai, celebrating outstanding individuals for their contributions across diverse sectors.
The event aimed to provide a platform to recognize the remarkable achievements of talents and personalities from various fields.
The ceremony, organized by the International Equitable Human Rights Social Council (IEHRS Council), featured a Human Rights Workshop, where prominent speakers, including Senior Mumbai High Court Advocate Ravi Jadhav, media personality and IEHRS Chairman Sanjay Sinha, and Minority Wing President Mohammad Irfan Ahmad, addressed attendees on the importance of human rights awareness.
They highlighted the growing violations of human rights and stressed the need for vigilance and action from both national and global communities.
Senior officials such as IAS Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, IRS Ashish Deharia, film actor Rajesh Mishra, and others also spoke on the subject, reinforcing the need for awareness and advocacy in the fight for human rights.
The event saw several distinguished personalities honored with the Indo International Icon Award.
Among the recipients were media personality Dr. Keval Kumar, Onco surgeon Dr. Sudeshna Benerjee, actress Monika Meena, filmmaker Amar Betaab, flutist Shantimaya Chatterjee, singer Zubin Sinha, and many others.
Soma Mitra captivated the audience with a Kathak dance performance, while Shantimaya Chatterjee won hearts with his soulful flute playing. The evening’s proceedings were anchored by Mahi Khan and Sunil Tiwari.
The awards ceremony recognized individuals from diverse fields, including social work, music, film, and dance, for their exemplary contributions.
The event served as both a celebration of talent and a call for greater attention to human rights issues worldwide.
