Dr Rajeshwar Singh Condemns Persecution of Hindus

Dr Rajeshwar Singh criticized the increasing violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. He stated that while Hindus made up 30% of the population in 1947, they now constitute just 8.5%. He condemned the discriminatory laws and religious persecution by the Bangladesh government.

Singh also recalled the 1971 genocide, where millions of Hindus were killed or displaced, leading to a demographic imbalance. He added that every year, millions of Hindus are forced to flee Bangladesh, with over 4,000 attacks on the community since 2013. More than 500 temples have been destroyed, and incidents of kidnapping and rape of Hindu girls continue to rise.
