The Supreme Court has refused to stay the declaration of the CLAT-PG-2025 results, which are now set to be released on December 10. A bench comprising Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna and Justice Sanjay Kumar dismissed the petition after hearing the case.
The petition, filed by law students Anas Khan and Ayush Aggarwal, challenged the provisional answer key released on December 2, claiming errors in 12 questions. The petitioners also criticized the short window for raising objections, as candidates had only until 4 pm on December 3 to submit their grievances. They argued that the Rs 1000 fee per objection was unfair, especially since the exam fee was already Rs 4000.

During the hearing, the petitioners’ lawyer urged the court to intervene, citing differences among various High Courts. However, the court declined to pass any order and suggested that the petitioners approach the High Court instead.
The CLAT-PG-2025 exam, held on December 1, took place across 141 centers nationwide. The Consortium of National Law Universities has since issued a detailed schedule for the results and allotment process.
