PM Modi Criticizes Opposition, Highlights BJP's Achievements

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp critique of opposition parties on Friday during a public meeting in Bhubaneswar. Addressing BJP workers at a felicitation program upon his arrival at Biju Patnaik International Airport, Modi accused the opposition of running a “shop of lies and propaganda” to mislead the public and conspire against the nation.

“The opposition, angry over losing power at the center for over a decade, is spreading falsehoods. Their shop of lies has been operational for the last ten years and is now more aggressive,” he said.

Urges Vigilance Against Misinformation

The Prime Minister called on BJP workers and citizens to remain vigilant, counter misinformation, and raise awareness about the opposition’s alleged agenda.

“They consider power their birthright and blame the people for voting for someone else. This hunger for power has led them to mislead citizens and push the country onto a wrong path,” Modi remarked.

He further criticized the opposition for abandoning slogans like “Chowkidar chor hai,” claiming their sole objective is to regain power and exploit the country.

Lauds BJP Government In Odisha

Praising the Mohan Charan Majhi-led BJP government in Odisha, Modi applauded the state administration for fulfilling promises made to the people. He reiterated that the BJP prioritizes Odisha’s development, irrespective of the ruling party in the state.

Modi highlighted key upcoming events in Odisha, including the first-ever Director Generals/Inspector Generals of Police conference in the state, the Indian Navy’s operational demonstration at the Blue Flag Beach on December 4, and the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas from January 8-10, 2025. He emphasized the tourism opportunities these events will bring to Odisha.

Warm Reception In Bhubaneswar

Upon arrival, PM Modi was greeted by thousands of supporters and cultural troupes performing traditional music and dance along the roads leading to the venue.

Later in the evening, the Prime Minister met with BJP MLAs, MPs, and senior leaders at the party’s state office, holding discussions on strategies and priorities.

Focus On Law Enforcement Conference

Modi’s visit also includes attending the All-India Conference of Director Generals/Inspector Generals of Police from November 30 to December 1 at the State Convention Centre, Lok Seva Bhawan. The event underscores the BJP’s commitment to national security and modernization of law enforcement.

With his three-day visit, Modi further has sought to energize party workers, criticize the opposition’s narrative, and bolster Odisha’s prominence on the national stage.
