Sarthak Panda, a student of Nurture International School, has made history by winning a gold medal in the CBSE East Zone Skating Competition. The event, held from October 23 to 26 at Good Shepherd Central School in Karnataka, saw Sarthak clinch the top spot in the 1-lap road race.
This victory not only earned Sarthak the gold medal but also secured him a spot in the prestigious School Games Federation of India (SGFI). Notably, Sarthak’s achievement is significant as he became the first student from Kanpur to qualify for SGFI in skating.

Sarthak’s success is also a testament to the guidance of his coach, Mandeep Kumar, who played a crucial role in shaping his skating skills. Under Mandeep’s mentorship, Sarthak honed his abilities and delivered an outstanding performance in the competition.
The school’s management, including Joint Secretary Sachin Chitranshi, Director Ritu Chitranshi, and Principal Parvinder Kaur, congratulated both Sarthak and Coach Mandeep for their remarkable achievement.
