Kareena recently made headlines at the NDTV World Summit, where she shared some surprising insights into her fashion preferences. The actress expressed her love for traditional Indian attire, stating that she feels she looks her best in a salwar kameez.
When asked to choose her favorite outfit among lehengas, sarees, and salwar kameez, she emphasized, “Salwar kameez is home,” explaining that it holds a special place in her heart due to her iconic character Geet from “Jab We Met.” She added, “I feel I look the best (in it) and I am the most comfortable in that.”
Kareena also discussed the evolution of Indian fashion, noting its significant progress in recent years. “Indian fashion has evolved so much, whether it is in films, red carpets, or through platforms like Instagram. People are increasingly interested in Indian fashion, and I’m happy that it’s a great moment for the fashion industry due to its craftsmanship,” she remarked.
Kareena Kapoor Khan will star alongside Ajay Devgn in the upcoming cop drama “Singham Again,” directed by Rohit Shetty. The film boasts a star-studded cast that includes Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone. “Singham Again” to hit theaters on November 1.
