Leaders from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh expressed their condolences following the passing of eminent industrialist Ratan Tata.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy conveyed his deep shock over Tata’s death. He stated, “Deeply shocked and saddened by the passing of Shri Ratan Tata, one of India’s greatest industrialists.” Reddy described Tata as a “visionary leader, humanitarian, and legendary figure” in India’s corporate world.
Reddy emphasized Tata’s significant contributions to India’s industrial landscape. “Under his exceptional leadership, the Tata brand soared to unparalleled heights,” he said. He added that Tata’s legacy of business excellence and commitment to social good would inspire future generations, especially the youth of India.
In his message, Reddy extended heartfelt condolences to the Tata family and to the many Indians mourning this loss. He remarked, “India has lost not only an industrial icon but a beloved son who embodied the true spirit of service and integrity.”

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu also mourned Tata’s passing. “Today, we have lost not just a business titan, but a true humanitarian,” he added. Naidu expressed his deepest condolences to Tata’s loved ones and the Tata Group, saying, “A life well-lived. An iconic legacy to cherish.”
Governor of Andhra Pradesh, S. Abdul Nazeer, also expressed profound grief over Tata’s demise. Former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy echoed these sentiments. He acknowledged Tata as a “visionary leader and a true icon of the Indian industry.”
Jagan emphasized Tata’s unwavering commitment to integrity, innovation, and philanthropy. He noted how Tata’s contributions touched countless lives and remarked that his legacy would continue to inspire future generations.
