India secured a 2-0 series victory over Bangladesh, defeating them by seven wickets on the fifth day at Green Park Stadium, Kanpur. Yashasvi Jaiswal starred with a 51-run knock in the modest chase of 95, sealing the win despite two rain-affected days.
India began the chase aggressively, with Jaiswal and captain Rohit Sharma starting confidently. Rohit, however, was dismissed early for 8, caught at deep square leg attempting a slog sweep. Jaiswal continued to play attacking cricket, even as Shubman Gill was dismissed for 6 by Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Virat Kohli then joined Jaiswal, contributing with his calm and fluent strokeplay.
