EAM Jaishankar Praises Union Budget, Says It Advances ‘Viksit Bharat’ Goal

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Tuesday commended Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for presenting a Budget that aligns with the vision of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) and addresses the aspirations of the people who have re-elected the NDA government for a third consecutive term.

4. Manufacturing and services
5. Urban development
6. Energy security
7. Infrastructure
8. Innovation, research, and development
9. Next-generation reforms

The External Affairs Minister also noted that the Budget allocates necessary resources to the Ministry of External Affairs to implement key policies, such as:

– Neighbourhood First
– Act East
– Global South
– Facilities for Indians traveling abroad

Jaishankar’s endorsement of the Budget underscores its potential to drive India’s growth and elevate its position on the international stage.
